The Awards Process

There will be three judges for each category within the awards; a representative from the sponsor of the category, an Archant representative to ensure a fair and consistent process, and a judge from a sponsor of the Suffolk Business Awards.

The Suffolk Business Awards will remain open for entries until Sunday 15 August. Judges will begin to review entries from w/c 16 August, where each judge will individually score the entries in their category against the set ten point criteria. Once scores have been submitted, the top eight businesses will be determined and contacted regarding the next stage of the judging process.

Judging will be complete via virtual meetings over Zoom or Teams where the judges will again submit scores individually following each meeting.

All judging will be complete by Thursday 30 September. With businesses to be advised if they have been selected as a finalist w/c 4 October. The judges will supply feedback to each business.

All finalists will be announced in a special supplement in the EADT, online and via social media on Wednesday 20 October.

The awards ceremony to crown our winners will take place on Thursday 18 November at Trinity Park, Ipswich.
